Peyton "Astro" Westfall is a self-taught balloon artist and juggler, who dabbles in magic (and god knows what else!). It's amazing what you can learn when you don't have a social life as a teenager. Over the last decade, Astro has evolved from a kids party clown, into the nasty-little-nerd we see today. Our very own ringling-reject, Astro has a huge... passion for bringing over-the-top performances, and with more latex than a Turkish bathhouse. Licensed to thrill and ready for action, Astro proves that red-nosed antics aren't just for the kiddos.
... From the world famous Halls of Montezuma, to the sparkling shores of Tripoli, Bernadette has performed "from coast to coast with taters and toast." Versatility in opera house and gin joint alike makes Bernadette one of the most "unique and entertaining performers of our day," raves Liz Smith of Variety. Audiences may recognize her from her brief but memorable appearance in Liza Minnelli's newest Concert DVD of her Tony Award winning show Liza's At The Palace. Yes, Bernadette's been entertaining Kansas City's elite for years. Her career boasts many wigs, dresses, lashes, and triple that amount of trials and tears. But... Like the Phoenix from the ashes, Bernadette has risen to the heights of Kansas City stardom! To quote the immortal bard: "She's got legs like we like 'em, with feet on one end and pussy on the other!!!"
Channing LaRue was given to the world April 17th,1997 at the "Our Fantasy Club & Ranch" for the Debutant Ball presented by the late, great, Big Mama Simone. The next few years Channing worked as a regular cast member of "The Fantasy Follies". It was truly and amazing schooling. She traveled with Fritz Capone, Dorian Munroe Tatianna, Adina Rand, and Sister TeeKee LaRue to Dallas, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Little Rock, Memphis, New Orleans, and of course, Kansas City. Through the change of life, she relocated to our fair Kansas City in the summer of 2001. She soon began performing at Roe's of KC, Tootsies, The Cabaret, etc.... By 2003 she started filling in at Missie B's and became a full time cast member in 2004. The rest is history to be made and written about, but not by Channing! Come and see Channing and enjoy the show and maybe meet and greet her and the rest of the staff and entertainers (she never turns down a shot of Southern Comfort).

"Connie Carlyle, The Blast From The Past" is great to hear while visiting Missie B's. Ms. Carlyle is best known for her drinking, wrestling, and baking skills than her perfectly tailored dresses or bouffant hair. This pretty lady was born a different time and place where things were more simpler and chugging a beer in public was acceptable. Where does her story start you ask? Nobody really knows but we will give it a shot!
Kansas City's Daisy Bucket took to the spotlight in "The Girly Show" at Bar Natasha in 2006. Since then, she has gone on to win awards (The Pitch's "Best Cabaret Show 2007", "Best Vocalist 2008" Zoey Award), be crowned Queen of Kansas City Gay Pride 2008, and ran a year-long drag variety show at Sidekicks Saloon known as "Daisy's Twilight Madness". When she's not supporting local charities (namely the AIDS Service Foundation), she is touring the country as Trampolina in the Kinsey Sicks, America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet. She has also been seen in theatre productions including the Unicorn Theatre's "La Cage aux Folles", Late Night Theatre's "A Scarrie Carrie Christmas Carol", Eubank Productions' "Zanna, Don't!" & "The Rocky Horror Show", and the Union Station production of "Psycho Beach Party". In the summer of 2009, she starred in a three-week run of the world premiere stage adaptation of "The Rose: A Rock Tragedy". Daisy is currently a member of the Kansas City Society of Burlesque.
Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. All the world's waiting for you, and the power you possess.
In your satin tights, Fighting for your rights And the old Red, White and Blue.
Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. Now the world is ready for you, and the wonders you can do.
Make a hawk a dove, Stop a war with love, Make a liar tell the truth.
Wonder Woman, Get us out from under, Wonder Woman. All our hopes are pinned on you. And the magic that you do.
Stop a bullet cold, Make the Axis fall, Change their minds, and change the world.
Hailing all way from Kansas to bring you the laughs every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, Dirty Dorothy likes long walks on the beach, jager-bombs, and cougars. You can occasionally find her gracing stages across the metro, most recently Christmas 2010 at the Unicorn theatre in "A Very Joan Crawford Christmas" as Bette Davis! Her hobbies include: purchasing power tools, playing softball, drinking Miller Light, and playing with her German shepherd, kitty cat, and cocktatoo, all named Toto.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Genewa Stanwyck!" Those are exciting words to hear indeed. These words are more frequently substituted with "Here she is, The Whore of '84". Either way, it's always followed with roaring banter and raucous laughter. But every hot model, performer and shooting star got their start somewhere. This is her story:
Life changed for Genewa Stanwyck when she lost a wrestling match with Mindy Cohn for the role of Natalie on the hit coming-of-age show "The Facts of Life" in 1979. But as the saying goes, when one door closes another one opens. Of course that door sort of closed too when Genewa lost a "Revenge of the Nerds" style belching contest with one Taylor Dane, costing her the spotlight in the 1986 "Tell It To My Heart" tour.
But make no mistake, kids, Miss Stanwyck is no loser. When you look up "Decade of Indulgence", you will see her picture. And it may be censored. In 1984, at the age of 16, she began appearing topless in numerous European mags and went on to become an enormously popular pin-up girl. Hence the nickname, "The Whore of '84".
When Stanwyck isn't moonlighting at Kansas City's Missie B's, the best gay disco in town, she appears in a number of failed reality TV shows and occasionally works as an un-aired awards show presenter! And after a far-out night of entertaining those wild Missie's kids with chips dips chains and whips, she wakes up to an elixir of bamboo, guava and crushed aspirin- a little hangover remedy she picked up while singing for the Gulf War troops in '89.
In addition to her performing career, she has earned a degree in cultural anthropology from Layola Marymount University. Take that, Mindy Cohn! Now yell it with me kids, "THE WHORE OF '84, THE WHORE OF '84, THE WHORE OF '84! MISS GENEWA STANWYCK!!! Missie B's takes would like to apologize for anything Genewa has said, she is a boozer and could not recognize her surroundings with three eye witnesses. She lives in her own world which she has been evicted from multiple times but since she is not accepted anywhere else, she is always returned to. We accept her at Missie B's because we are the Island of Misfit Toys!
Loretta has "family" ties with Missie B's dating back to the bar opening its doors. After a very long hiatus from performing regularly, Loretta Martin is thrilled to once again be a Missie B's show cast member. She performs every Monday night in the fantastic live singing "Girlie Show".
Before her "birth" at Missie's on Halloween night of 1994, she had been a regular karaoke patron at the bar and joined the show cast part time performing as the first live singing "Missie B Bad Boy".
As the show schedules increased, so did Loretta's performances, eventually working up to 4 nights per week in addition to working a full time day job.
Eventually she competed in local drag pageants and in 1995 won first alternate to Miss Kansas City Gay Pride - which sent to her to compete in the 1996 Miss Gay Missouri America pageant.
To everyone's amazement, she returned home to Missie B's with the title of Miss Gay Missouri America 1996. She was the first local title holder for the bar and also holds the honor of being the only live singer to capture the title (to date).
Although she loves performing, her priorities continue to be her relationship with her husband of 12 years, David (whom she met out of drag judging a pageant at Missie's), her grown children and career.
She is eternally grateful to Belle Starr, Michael Burnes and Jan Allen for giving her the opportunity to be a part of Missie B's history and the privilege of working with the bar's fantastic performers, staff as well as meeting the thousands of wonderful bar patrons over the years.
I started drag in June 2009 at Sidekicks for their pride show. I have worked at Missie B's since then. I started drag as a way to get back on the stage; I was in acting all through school and I love being on stage and being the center of attention. I fill with joy every time I hear the audience cheer. I make most of my own costumes because of being so tall - it's hard to find floor length gowns.

New to all this mayhem. I've never stood behind a bar. Slept on some, but never stood behind one yet.
Have been a DJ my entire adult life. I was On-the-Air Full-time when I was only 15. Now after 2000+ wedding receptions, 500 school dances, and 700 corporate events. I was a Boxing Ring Announcer and a Casino Emcee too. Now tired of it all and call The B my new home. I guess I needed something DIRTIER in my life! Started there April Fool's Day 2009 and glad I took the leap. What a ride! (Thank you Jan & Michael)
Top, Bottom, who cares, I'm a switch and will nail anything not claimed or nailed down if it's still moving. If it's claimed and not moving I will leave it be. But I prefer to GIVE IT TO YOU in Prizes!!

I have been performing at Missie B's since 2005 as a male impersonator. I truly enjoy performing & having fun with the crowd. You will find me on most Friday & Saturday nights. Just a Steel-Town girl on a saturday night Lookin for the fight of her life In the real time world no one sees her at all They all say she's crazy
Lockin rythms to the beat of her heart Changing moment into light She has danced into the danger zone When the dancer becomes the dance
It can cut you like a knife If the gift becomes the fire All the while you're stuck between What's will and what will be
On the ice-filled line of sanity It's a place most never see It's a hard-won place of mystery You can touch it but can't hold it
You work all your life for that moment in time It can come or pass you by It's a push of the world but there's always a chance If the hunger stays alive
There's a cold kenetic heat Struggling, stretching for the beat Never stopping With her hair against the wind
It can cut you like a knife If the gift becomes the fire All the while you're stuck between What's will and what will be
She's a maniac, maniac at your door And she's dancing like she never danced before She's a maniac, maniac at your door And she's dancing like she never danced before
